About Me
Hello, I’m Julie Grair, the founder of FitQuest College Consulting. I am a dedicated educator and credentialed high school counselor with 19 years of experience supporting students and families in public schools. My passion for education and equity is deeply rooted in my own story as a first-generation college student, which drives my commitment to making the college admissions process accessible, clear, and empowering for every student.
I hold a Bachelor's degree in Psychology, a Master's degree in Counseling with an emphasis in School Counseling, and a Pupil Personnel Services (PPS) Credential. In addition, I’ve earned a Graduate Certificate in Anti-Racism in Urban Education, reflecting my commitment to culturally responsive and equity-centered practice. I also hold a Certificate in College Advising from UCLA Extension, further strengthening my expertise in guiding students through the college search and application process.
Throughout my career, I have served as a high school college counselor, helping students explore their interests, discover meaningful academic paths, and craft authentic applications that reflect their strengths. I’ve supported students in gaining admission to highly selective colleges, as well as helped many discover outstanding schools that fit their unique goals, identities, and aspirations.
I am also honored to serve as a certified UCLA application reader for the Fall 2026 read cycle, giving me an insider’s understanding of how applications are evaluated and what selective institutions value in prospective students.
At FitQuest College Consulting, my mission is to empower every student—especially first-generation students and families—to navigate the path to college with confidence, clarity, and a deep sense of possibility. I believe that finding the right fit can transform a student’s educational journey, and I am here to guide them every step of the way.
